Vending Machines Sydney: For the Afterparty Shoes

October 18th, 2010 | Christoph

Vending Machines Sydney selling disposable shoes is a great gift for the ladies. These disposable shoes will surely come in handy after a fun night out with the posse.

In Germany, Ballerina to Go is the brainchild of a student named Isabella Fendt. Ballerina to Go is a vending machine that features disposable ballerina shoes. This concept is a product of Fendt’s numerous trips to the club herself. Apparently, like all the other girls her age, Fendt has suffered from sore feet as a result of wearing heels at the pub. With Ballerina to Go located at pubs, the ladies can dance the night away and not worry about going home with shoes in their hands. Moreover, the disposable shoes come with bags where they can keep their dancing shoes. In addition, the ballerina shoes come in a variety of colors like purple, black, silver, and red. Surely, the ladies will have no trouble matching their attires with these colors.

With Vending Machines in Sydney in various clubs, I would think that the ladies will definitely stay much later than they usually do. Afterall, they can always visit the vending machines and out pop shoes at their disposable. They can even go for coffee before heading straight home.

I must say that vending machines like the ones in Germany is a great idea. I just hope that the ladies do not drink too much while they are out partying. At the very least, they should have a designated driver who will be responsible enough not to drive while under the influence of alcohol. Oh and as an afterthought, ladies can buy these disposable shoes should they happen to have the misfortune of suffering from broken heels during their daily walks in the city.

Now that is one Vending Machines Sydney I’d like to come across with. I’d probably even buy disposable shoes from the vendo just for the fun of it. Would you?

On Hold Music – Melbourne’s most exciting new band

September 16th, 2010 | Christoph

2010 has been a fantastic year for Australian music, due in large part to the success of the exciting Melbourne-based trio ‘On Hold Music’. With the release of their debut album this spring, On Hold Music have sent supersonic soundwaves rippling through the industry, both in Australia and overseas. If their first EP, titled ‘Sugar Hydrant’ was something to get excited about, then their sophomore album is virtually cause to wet one’s pants. I we don’t say that lightly!

When I asked the boys how they landed on the band name, they said it was largely a result of mistaken identity, after Robert, the bands lead singer and guitarist, received a number of wrong numbers to his cell phone. Those wrong numbers were actually looking for a company called Media Messages, an on hold music service provider from QLD. It just so happened that these odd phone calls were occurring right around the time the band needed to make a decision, and after a number of requests for the group to produce some ‘on hold music’, the boys thought they might as well oblige.

The title of the actual album is rather less interesting. ‘Seven Ducks’ is a masterful piece of Australian music. From start to finish it grips you by the ear drums & never lets go. It’s no surprise then that the album has been nominated for an incredible 8 ARIA awards. Overall, Seven Ducks is quite simply an instant classic, and an album that should be part of every Australian’s music collection.

The festival on Saturday was a blast! We were pretty tired from getting up early to play the WCCO morning show, but we still had enough energy to rock the McNally Smith stage on a beautiful afternoon.

Some of the highlights for me were hanging with some of our favorite local bands like White Light Riot and Quietdrive, as well as being able to see amazing performances by Brother Ali, and Har Mar Superstar featuring Fabrizio Moretti of The Strokes on drums.

Hopefully they will keep doing this festival because it was awesome and I think it will be a great celebration of Minnesota artists for years to come.
